Hello Orcas!

Registration for the 2026-2027 season is now open on Swimtopia! The coaches are so excited for another great season! If you plan to swim for the Orcas this upcoming season, please complete the registration here. Please only register swimmers that were on the team last year. Siblings new to the team can be registered once they have been assigned to an athlete group after tryouts.

Please register your swimmer(s) as soon as possible so we can see where our numbers are as we begin tryouts for our new swimmers! Swimtopia will not collect any fees at this time, all fees will be collected through Daxko closer to the start of the season.

Please refer to the attached “Athlete Groups” form (or link found during registration) to double check your swimmer's athlete group from last season. It is important the swimmers get registered in the correct groups. The swimmers must be registered in the SAME group they were in last season. Evaluations for the returning swimmers will take place the first 2 weeks of practice. If the coach feels the swimmers needs to be moved up a group during the evaluation period, we will communicate that with you during that time.

Returning swimmers will not need to tryout; however, any siblings or friends that did not swim with us last year must sign up for a tryout date here.

I have also attached the practice schedule for the season. We have made a couple small changes to align with the new Oldham County School schedule. At this time Ruth Eshelman will be coaching blue, Will Eldridge will be coaching silver, Hannah Quale or Marcia Elder will be coaching gold, Vicky will be coaching platinum, and Kelsey McAleese will be on deck to help when needed. We are also looking to add some junior coaches and/or assistant coaches to help with the blue and silver groups! If that is something you or your older swimmer would be interested in, please reach out to Kelsey.

This will be the last email you receive from the Orcas swim team unless you register for the upcoming 2026-2027 season. If you do not register, you will no longer receive communication, and we will assume you will not be returning. We hope to see everyone back!
